About Bluff

Bluff, Utah was established in 650 A.D., settled in 1880, and incorporated as a Town in 2018. This small, southeast Utah town has a population of around 250 people.

Bluff is located on the traditional, ancestral, and current lands of the Hopi, Diné, Ute Mountain Ute, Ute, Rio Grande Puebloan People, and other traditional Indigenous inhabitants. As such, a primary driver and guiding principle in the work of the Bluff Community Foundation is to recognize and honor the current and modern-day connections of the Puebloans, Hopi, Diné, Ute Mountain Ute, Ute People and Rio Grande Pueblo People who have stewarded the Bluff landscape and the greater Four Corners Region since time immemorial.
